iam a african american with a brown skin complexion, i have some acne scars on my face and i was wondering can i get laser resurfacing done?

They sure can =D
I don’t think that matters
two words for you… michael jackson
yes, skin is skin
yea, but does lt look more like acne or like black lil bumps?
Oh good God. Are you trying to suggest that science is “racially profiling” now too? Yes hun. You are allowed by the laws of science to have a procedure done regardless of you heritage. btw, thanks for the promotion of continued racism. YOU SUCK.
Black, White, Blue, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Purple, Red … it’s all skin. Doesn’t matter what the color is. Laser skin treatment will work on any color of skin.
only a well qualified dermatologist could answer that,,,,,,, i have always heard that African Americans scar easy, but with new technologies, it might be possible
Yes but choose a good dermatology doctor my friend had it done and the doctor went to deep and burn parts of her face, choose wisely and when you go ask lots of questions.Wishing you the best.
Sure why not. Good luck with it.
Yes, you can get laser resurfacing done, but choose your doctor very carefully and do not be afraid to ask if they have worked on African-Americans before. Also make sure they have the laser appropriate for your skin to avoid scarring.
BTW, despite the knee-jerk reactions of some people, skin is not just skin. The skin of African-Americans is indeed different in many ways. That does not make you a racist or conspiracy theorist if you acknowledge this, so her question is very valid.
