People right now, due to Bush’s recession, which started back in ’07, are more concerned about having a paycheck, college and medical bills. This is common sense. The rest is common sense and intelligence. Thanks for the update.

Reading this all I can say is I am glad I live in UK, especially here in Scotland. Our NHS is far from perfect but at least after retirement we don’t have to pay for it. Also here in Scotland we have Free Care for the Elderly. This means anything to do with the personal needs of the person as in showering, dressing, meal preparation etc whether in own home or nursing home is absolutely free.

The new clip, which must have been shot on a shoestring (G-string?) budget, features video vixen Kyra Chaos, who, as MTV RapFix noted, is known for her extraordinarily plump derriere; her rear assets were even painted with the face of a tiger in the artwork for 50 Cent’s single “Girls Go Wild.” It’s highlighted in the single long shot of Kyra gyrating, thrusting, and popping for the benefit of a webcam. Clad in a knit cap, high-waisted gray jeggings, and a cut-out black crop-top exposing her copious decollete (but that’s totally what we wore to Starbucks this morning, so it’s like, NBD), Kyra dances provocatively to the sultry beats of Drake’s track, which samples Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up,” to great effect. “I can tell that you’ve been practicing,” Drizzy purrs over the stripped-down, minimalist beat.

But lest you think poor Kyra was getting lonely there with her lovely lady lumps, near the end of the video she receives a surprise gentleman visitor. OMG, it’s Drake, you guys! The two collapse into a passionate embrace, and indeed, it’s a good thing that she was practicing — since, as our piano teacher always told us, practice makes perfect! Admittedly, when we stopped practicing, all of our nimble-fingered skills disappeared, whereas Kyra’s talents (gluteus maximus, pillowy pout, swiveling hips) probably aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Hush little baby, please don’t cry… Jewel is going to sing you a lullaby!

Star moms (and moms-to-be!) are sending their little ones off to dreamland with the folk singer’s 2009 kiddie album, Lullaby, which features 10 original tracks and a few old favorites (“Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”).

On June 28, Alyssa Milano Tweeted: “My baby and I singing to @jeweljk before bedtime,” along with a sound clip of her and 5-month-old son Milo‘s mini duet.

And Jessica Simpson, who is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first child, has already added the album to her playlist. “Just ordered Lullaby,” she Tweeted last week. “I can’t wait for my lil one to enjoy her voice!”

Lucky for them, Jewel recently released another children’s album, The Merry Goes Round, to add to their repertoire. And even though so many celeb babies are enjoying Jewel’s soothing songs, we’re sure 6-month-old son Kase Townes is still his mama’s biggest fan.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Public Enemy and N.W.A. fan.

Kind of like our girl Mika Newton, Gwyneth Paltrow is another blonde who’s more than meets the eye. Or so she claims. In her latest issue of GOOP, Gwyneth’s weekly lifestyle newsletter, she took us behind the scenes at her recent Harper’s Bazaar cover photo shoot, and she mentioned something that caught us a little off-guard: “Two classic albums were played that day: Straight Outta Compton by N.W.A. and It Takes A Nation Of Millions [To Hold Us Back] by Public Enemy.”

Uhh, I think I speak for the entire country when I say, “WAIT WUT.” We know Gwyn’s a music lover (she’ll be presenting at next weekend’s Grammy awards), but we usually hear her lauding the rejuvinating qualities of expensive juice fasts or making a case for organic vitamins. So forgive us for having a hard time imagining Gwyn rapping, “N—– start to mumble, they wanna rumble/Mix ‘em and cook ‘em in a pot like gumbo” while wearing very expensive couture dresses.

But hey, this just proves the connective power of music, right? Public Enemy probably didn’t imagine a rich movie star identifying with their tales of inner city injustice, but I guess weirder things have happened.

The infamous “Peanuts” character that shares the song’s name doesn’t make an appearance, but instead we get clips of a young couple on a mission to find each other. Quick glimpses offer the pair racing through the city to meet while montages of the band rocking out in full rave attire — glow paint, glow sticks and glowing instruments — are interspersed between the suspenseful narrative. Later, the couple whoops it up while recklessly speeding in a car, and that’s when we learn why they were in such a rush: they’re running late to the band’s concert, duh. No one wants to be tardy for a Coldplay party.

Let’s hope this is the kind of fun Coldplay plans to brings to the stage (with Rihanna!) for their Grammys performance on Feb. 12 — BRB, stocking up on some black lights right now.

After years of unsuccessful attempts to expand her family, Elizabeth Banks finally got to experience What to Expect When You’re Expecting — at least on screen.

But off, when the actress and her husband Max Handelman eventually decided to travel down the path of gestational surrogacy, Banks kept her eyes on the prize: her son.

“It helps that other moms had said that once they had their babies, they forgot they were ever pregnant,” she says in the March issue of Women’s Health.

“So once my focus became the baby and not the pregnancy, it was a very easy decision.”

Thrilled to have welcomed Felix last March, the couple still make it a point to carve out plenty of couple time.

Fortunately, 19 years into their relationship — and co-owners of a production company — the pair have mastered a system.

“Working together provides a lot of balance in our life and it’s a way for us to [see each other], because I travel so much for work,” the Man on a Ledge star, 37, explains.

In addition to the demands of her blossoming career, the delicate balance of baby and her marriage allows Banks — who plays Effie Trinket in the highly anticipated Hunger Games film adaptation – to be a “good role model” for the life she leads.

“I have an amazing marriage and it will be long-lasting. I think I’m a good mom,” she says. “I could run for office, no problem, because there are no skeletons in my closet. Not that I would run for office…”
