It is the "developed, civilized" nations that are the leading environmentalists. They also have, obviously, the most highly educated populations on earth. Atheism is "possible" anywhere. There are cultures where it isn't acceptable to go public with your opinions. In this country, polls show that people will accept any religion in a political candidate, but they will not accept an atheist (or agnostic, I expect) as a candidate. I am an agnostic, but I enjoy and respect nature, as in the breeze, the sun, the rain, etc. I don't that these things are "proof" of the existence of a god, though. Bear in mind that "fornication" is also a totally "natural" process. After all, if you must use the bible as a source, tell me who married Adam and Eve? Nowhere does it say in genesis that they were married. And how many kids did they have? You are out of touch with reality.
