The body shop make up?

Hey, I was thinking of switching to The body shop’s make up from Clinique.

Are there powders and foundations good? Because I was wondering how good there Loose face powder and Natural mineral foundation powder were. Also, how light is the lightest colours of those two? Because I’m fair skinned with pink undertone.

also, can you suggest me any good powders or foundations that gives great coverage from there? Thanks!
Alex: Trust me, guys can wear make up :]]

They’re okay but for the price I would
    use Bare Minerals.
The Body Shop’s powder foundations don’t have very good coverage
& tend to wear off VERY quickly.
I found that I was spending a lot more than usual because I had
to keep reapplying and my makeup would run out really fast.

    Good luck!

Usually the body shop makeup is very good, but I havent had the best experiences with their foundations!! I tried on of their liquid foundations – it was kinda orange but at the time I didnt mind (I thought it looked good!!:S). When my eyes watered though, it turned this wierd milky colour. Not waterproof at all! Then I tried their mineral foundation. Suprisingly this way very good. It had a great texture and coverage, and the brush for it (which i had to buy sepertaly) was very good. Unfortunatly it was too dark for my skin. All body shop foundations are to dark for me,(even the lightest shades) but thats because im so pale!! I cant use rimmel etc either casue the colour is just not light enough. I think it should be ok though for you. If you are light skinned you probably wont we quite as light as me, and so they should be ok. Get the woman in the shop to use the fondation on you before you buy it though, just to be safe. Ive heard great things about their powders though. I havent tried one myself but Im pretty sure that theyd be lighter than the foundation though. Hope I helped!! :D

Omg yes. I work there and we have pretty awesome foundations. There are two choices for liquid foundation. Oil free balancing foundation and moisture foundation. Oil free balancing foundation is going to provide much more coverage and is recommended for oily skin. The moisture foundation is almost like a tinted moisturizer because it is very lightweight. I would recommend this for normal to dry skin. We also have nature’s minerals which is the mineral makeup and it is pretty good, not to mention it has SPF25! We also have another foundation called All in one face base. All in one face base can be used as a powder foundation but can also be used as a light liquid foundation is you wet your foundation brush.

The colors go pretty light, however light is relative. I would say if you had very dark skin you would have to probably stick to oil free balancing foundation because we have the most shades with that line, but since you’re light, there shouldn’t be too much of a problem. (BTW I hate that we don’t have dark colors in all of our foundations. But I love The Body Shop!) Oh yeah, and all the makeup has organic marula oil, a community trade product from Namibia. Marula oil is fabulous for your skin and The Body Shop pioneered the cosmetic use of it =)
